Our People

Mr. Wandera holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Business Administration Degree, both from the University of Nairobi. He has extensive experience in insurance and is also a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII). He is the immediate former Principal Executive Director (Business), Britam Holdings Plc, overseeing the International Division of six countries and two insurance companies in Kenya, having retired on 31st December 2019. He is also a past Chairman of the Association of Kenya Insurers and a former Governor of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).

Mrs. Mahuka is a member of the University of Malawi Council. She is a former Finance Director, Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) and Head of Finance, Malawi Environmental Endowment Fund. She is also a former member of the board of the Reserve Bank of Malawi.Mrs. Mahuka holds a Master of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Stirling (U.K) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Malawi. She is a Chartered Public Accountant.

Mr. Aosa is the Director, International Insurance Business at Britam Holdings Plc. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration both from University of Pune. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and Associate of the Insurance Institute of India (AIII) and is a Chartered Insurer. He has served in various roles in the Company including General Manager, Marketing Manager.

Mr. Nkhono is a Senior Partner at Mbendera & Nkhono Associates, Blantyre. He is a director of FDH Financial Holdings, FDH Money Bureau Ltd, Nampak Malawi Limited and the Chairman of Axis Pension Limited. He is a former director of the Reserve Bank of Malawi. He holds a Master of Laws in International Development Law from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malawi. Mr. Nkhono holds the rank of Senior Counsel in respect to his work as a legal practitioner.

Mr. Tembo is the Managing Partner, Integral Finance Services Group. He is also a director of the New Finance Bank, Tembo Global Corporations and Travel Lodge Hotels Limited among others. He is a former Finance Director at Limbe Leaf Tobacco Company, and a former chairman of Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi. He is the Founder Trustee and Chairman of the Light House Trust. Mr. Tembo holds a Master of Science degree in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics
